Zhouhzhuang

We spent a day at Zhouhzhuang, an ancient water town near Shanghai commonly known as the "Venice of the East."  Zhouhzhuang is known for its waterways that flow through the town, and its streets are lined with small shops and restaurants with locals selling their goods and services.  I am not sure that it is as nice as Venice, but it was a nice change of pace from the concrete and glass jungle of Shanghai.
