For more than 20 years, I never took more than two weeks off from work. That changed in 2013 when I took a six-month sabbatical from my finance career to travel throughout Asia. I visited 13 different countries during my adventure and took the opportunity to capture the subtle beauty and identity of each county and its people. Every country I visited piqued my interest in its culture, history, and cuisine. Traveling not only allowed me to learn different ways of life but has also enabled me to test my assumptions. Ultimately, seeing the world helped me gain new perspectives and have a better understanding of other people’s views. I felt alive and inspired from my travels, and I hope my photos will inspire you to explore the incredible globe we live in as well.
