Singapore is a very modern and clean city. It is also one of the most diverse cities we have been in Asia with population mostly consisting of Chinese, Malays, and Indians. Although Singapore is a very nice city, we did not feel as connected to it as some other places we have visited. Perhaps we have gotten used to the hawkers and chaos on the streets in other Asian cities and Singapore was too clean and orderly for us.
